Water Crysis and Protests in Iran!
In Iran, where the economic crisis can not be rectified anyhow, the people went out on the streets because of thirst in the city of Hürremşehr. Water flowing from the tap is salty, the people of Hurremşehr are buying drinking water from the water tankers.
The public is having difficult days with the temperature rising to 50 degrees.
“We do not want clumsy managers. Thieves did not spoil us in the name of religion “. A similar demonstration took place last week in Abadan, a province of Huzistan. Drought in Iran due to low rainfall and limited water resources causes water crisis in the country.
The water situation in Abadan, a city of oil and commerce in the south of Iran and in the shore of the bay, is distressed.
Abadan aimed at the foreign policy of the system and protested thirst with the slogan “They are telling us that the enemy is the enemy, our enemy is here”.
The locals who made long queues in their drums for fresh water everywhere in the city spoke to the administrators in the form of “We live in a country (our oil), we do not have our drinking water”.
On the social media, there were images of police using tear gas, fire and some injured demonstrators. One demonstrator claimed to have lost his life.
There has not yet been an official statement about how many people were wounded and taken into custody in the outbreaks.
It was reported that 65 people in Huzistan province were admitted to hospitals yesterday for poisoning. Hürremşehr and Abadan cities of Huzistan province are protesting the water problem for three days.
