American aircraft maker Boeing canceled agreements with Iranian airlines with no repay, due to new sanctions against Iran.

In a statement made by Boeing officials to the French news agency AFP, Boeing said a $ 2 billion deal with Iranian airline companies had been canceled.

Boeing made two deals in December 2016 with Iran worth $ 16.6 billion, and $ 3 billion in April 2017, which could not buy passenger aircraft and aircraft spare parts from the US due to the embargo that lasted for nearly 40 years.

Boeing’s cancellation of the agreements led to US President Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw from the Comprehensive Joint Action Plan last month and to explain that Iran’s sanctions, suspended in 2015, will be reapplied.

Iran also made deals on 100 airplanes for about $ 20 billion with French aircraft maker Airbus. Airbus, which has been delivering 3 passenger planes to Iranian Air so far, are trying to make more deliveries at the end of the summer.
