In Iran, which has spent the last days of 2017 with protesters spread across the country, there are once again demonstrations on streets. This time the center of the protests are in Persian city Kazerun.

The people of Kazer, who opposed break up of the city for a long time organized the demonstration, going out to the street at midnight. In the morning hours, some demonstrators set fire to the police station.

In this conflicts there are two heavy casualties. Demonstrators claim at least six people were killed. The protestors, who share bloody photographs of the demonstrators who lost their lives and were injured in the social media, say the police are firing. There are gunshots in social media video recordings.

In Iran, unemployment, rising inflation and corruption in the last days of the last year began to show signs of anti-regime protests.

Thousands of people participated in the demonstrations that started in Mashhad and spread to Kirmanşah, Rasht, Isfahan and Kum. In demonstrations where more than 20 people were killed, hundreds of protesters were taken into custody. Regime advocates also went to the streets in the same days to support the administration of Tehran.

These giant protests have been on record as the biggest demonstrations since 2009.
