Two Azerbaijani cyclists supported Urmia Lake
Azerbaijanis are taking various symbolic steps to take the attention of the world and the Iranian regime to the Urmuia Lake crisis.
Two young cyclists from the eastern part of southern Azerbaijan pedaled in the capital of Azerbaijan to support Urmia Lake.
The purpose of the long-distance drivers was to direct the attention of the Iranian government and the international community to this problem in order to save the Urmia lake.
With the slogan “Urmuia Lake is flowing in rivers, not in life seminars”.
Urmu Lake, the second largest lake in the world, has been facing the danger of drying up for several years and now it has established 95 percent of the lake alraedy did. The Iranian authorities are not in a hurry to do practical scientific research. All this area is accompanied by a sharp protest of the population.
