On the eve of the upcoming Novruz holiday, Turkish books began to be distributed among the people in Erdebil, South Azerbaijan.

The protection of our mother tongue has been proccesed through the book distribution campaign, the initiatives and funds of national cultural activists, it all helped to increase the language awareness of the South Azerbaijani Turks and to gain their national identity. The distribution of hundreds of books among the population in Erdebil is predominantly for young children and school students. The contents of these books are mostly Azerbaijani tales.

Erdebili national cultural activists not only to distributed Turkish books to the urban population, but also emphasized the importance of learning their mother tongue and teaching it at school. It was reported that this initiative of Azerbaijani activists was met with gratitude by the local population, including children.
