The Iranian Football Federation governing committee has made a preliminary decission against South Azerbaijan’s Tractor Football Club. The Administrative Committee brought up clubs that violated the rules of Super league, and many clubs faced various penalties. In the report Tractor team supporters were accused of insulting actions against Ali Sayi, Kerim Bakiri and other members of the team, in the match he made between Tractor and Saypa teams. For this reason, it was decided to make one of the club matches in a neutral stadium in another city. The city will be determined by the Organizing Committee. The decision of the Administrative Committee is not final and it is possible to be appealed. For the same reasons, Huzistan’s “İstiklal”, Tehran’s “Perspolis” and Rech’s “Sepidrud” clubs were also convicted and fined with various amounts of money. Rasha Muhajir, Mishhed’s “Pedide” team coach, has been sentenced to a written warning and a cash fine of 50 million Rials for Tehran’s “Independence” team. In addition, according to Qatar’s “Alraya” newspaper, Tractor and Istiklal teams decided to meet Saudi Arabia’s teams in Doha, Qatar’s capital. Istiklal explained that Saudi Arabia wanted to meet with Alhilal team in Doha. It was said that Tractor, Oman, Iraq, Lebanon and Qatar’s Alehli team might meet. The fact that these encounters are held in a neutral country is linked to the political and diplomatic tension between Iran and Saudi Arabia.
