Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati Has Ordered Disqualification of Religious Minorities in Elections
Araz News:Just one week before parliament is to approve a list of candidates, a letter published this week by Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati, the head of the Guardian Council, declared it is against Sharia (Islamic law) for non-Muslims to be candidates in Shia Muslim-majority areas in city and village council elections ,jihadwatch reported on 19 May 2017.
Once again, the inherently supremacist nature of Sharia reveals itself: non-Muslims are deemed second-class, inferior to Muslims. In the meantime, infidels abroad continue to embrace the Islamic Republic of Iran, even as it funds jihad terror groups, and eagerly aid its expansionist efforts under the umbrellas of dialogue — and in large part by means of avenues opened up under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, that is, the Iran nuclear deal.
Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati have expressed during his speech that qualification of non-Muslim candidates are inconsistent with the views of Ayatollah Khomeini and inconsistent with the “Sharia “(Islamic law).
