Araz News: Tabriz municipality is to have more fruitful interactions with urban administration of Turkey, as a part of a comprehensive planning to boast desired tourism indexes of city by 2018, stated Mr. Sadegh Najafi, the mayor of Tabriz in meeting with the new Consul General of Turkey in Tabriz on Jan 11, 2016.

He also pointed to the considerable cultural similarities of two sides, various economic cooperation and asked for even stronger ties between them.

He addressed the selection of Tabriz as the tourism capital of Islamic countries for 2018 and highlighted the importance of mutual cooperation of Tabriz and municipal administration of Turkey to realize the goals of Tabriz 2018.

In this meeting, Calar Faheri, the new consul general of Turkey Republic in Tabriz, regarded the expansion of mutual interactions of municipal management of Tabriz and Turkey as a key to development of bilateral cooperation of two sides.
