Nima Hasani South Azerbaijani civil right activist was released from Urmia prison
Araz News: Mr. Nima Hasani one of Civil rights activists in the Urmia city after referring to the Revolutionary Court for serving his prison terms was transferred to Urmia prison. After the completion of their sentence, was released from Urmia prison On Oct 18, 2015.
It is noteworthy that after the detention of Nima Hasani, the activist was transferred to Section of youth in Orumieh prison.However , He was protesting his transfer to this section and demanded to his transition to the political section of the prison many times.
Mr. Nima Hasani was arrested in demonstration protest to drying of Lake Urmia with other his 21 friends on June 9, 2014.
After the trial in Urmia Revolutionary Court, presided by Judge Chabok ,he was sentenced to six months in prison because of allegations of collusion against national security and propaganda against the government.
It should be noted that this 22 year old activist was arrested for his civil right activities many times.
