In the match where two Turkish technical director faced each other; Qatar’s Al-Gharafa team, coached by Bülent Uygun, defeated the Iranian team Tractor Sazi of Ertuğrul Sağlam in the Asian Champions League with the 3-1 score.
The host Tractor Sazi finished the first half with 0-1 with a goal scored by Muhammad Iranpourian on the 31st minute.

El-Gharafa showed effective performance in the second period, Moayed Hassan in the 70th minute, Abdelaziz Hatem in the 76th minute and Mahdi Taremi in the 87th minute.

El-Gharafa, who defeated his opponent 3-0 in the first match of the group, was third with a score of 8 points and could not stay in the last 16 rounds because he could not overcome his bilateral average in spite of capturing Al-Jazeera of the United Arab Emirates team. Tractor Sazi finished the group with 2 points.
