Araz News: Said Matin Pour’s family members say his health conditions have deteriorated seriously after he was transferred forcibly to Zanjan prison from Evin prison, Tehran in September 2014.

His mother Seyyedeh Alliye Mousavi has told to Said Matin Pour website that at the first the authorities told us they had transferred Said to Zanjan prison to be released conditionally. But after months now they deny their promises. She added now his health conditions are so bad and his teeth gums are infected seriously.

Said Matin Pour also suffers from heart disease and kidney malfunction.

He also was injured during a raid by prison guards in Evin prison.

South Azerbaijani journalist and human rights activist Said Matin Pour is serving 8 year imprisonment verdict. He has been deprived of his legal rights and is mistreated in prison years because of defending his opinion and values.
