The Deputy Warns Ministers: There must be at least one Turkish Minister in Iranian Council
Masbrazh Pezeshiyan, a deputy from Iran’s parliament, said he would like to see the Turkish ministers at the Council of Ministers.
He spoke in an interview with the Tabriz Men local news agency.
“We warned the government about this. At least one person from Azerbaijan must be elected to the Council of Ministers.”
He insists that deputies react seriously, if demand is not met.
President Hasan Ruhani is preparing to appoint new ministers instead of four recently resigned ministers. Except for 3 of the 17 ministers, all other ministers are Persian. Defense Minister Amir Hatemi is said to have been born in South Azerbaijan.
The presence of Turkish ministers in the Council of Ministers is one of the public demands of the Turkish nation.
