20 Iranian Firms were banned by the United States sanctions
The United States Treasury Department of Foreign Assets Control Office (OFAC) said in a statement that Bank Mellat and Mehr Eqtesad Bank, one of the leading banks in Iran, were added to the sanctions list.
OFAC, imposing sanctions against the Resistance Force, stated that the organization would also impose sanctions on Iranian Tractor Manufacturing Company and the largest steel producer in Middle East and Africa region ,Mubarak Steel Company as a result of their support for their malignant activities including child soldiers supply and training.
Other institutions that OFAC would impose sanctions on the Bonyad Taavon Besic (Besic Cooperation Organization), a financial network composed of companies listed as follows:
Parsian Bank, Sina Bank, Andisheh Mehvaran Investment Company, Mehr Eqtesad Finance Group, Taktar Investment Company, Tadbirgaran Atiyeh Iran Investment Company, Iran Zinc Mines Development Company, Negin Sahel Royal Investment Company, Technotar Engineering Company, Zanjan Acid Production Company, Parsian Catalyst Chemical Company, Calcimin, Bahman Group, Bandar Abbas Zinc Production Company, Qeshm Zinc Melting and Reduction Company.
