The retirees held a demonstration in Iran’s capital Tehran and Isfahan, demanding an increase in their salaries.

According to ILNA, hundreds of retirees gathered in front of the building of the Budget and Planning Agency in Tehran, protesting that they pension is below the poverty line.

Most of them teachers’ retirees, demanded to increase their salaries and improve the insurance conditions.

In addition to Tehran, Isfahan also witnessed similar protests.
