The Iranian government at every opportunity intimidates the Turks in South Azerbaijan and Turkey.

The spokesman of the Iranian Chief General Staff Brigadier Ebulfazl Sikarci said that Iran did not support the military operation that the Turkish Armed Forces launched against the terrorist organization PKK in northern Iraq.

“Although the Islamic Republic of Iran supports all kinds of counter-terrorism activities, it considers it an illegal act to operate within the borders of a third country under the pretext of fighting terrorism without the permission of the legal government in the country concerned.”

According to the Dogan News Agency, Iranian Spokesman said that Iran has been one of the victims of terrorism for the last forty years.

“Nevertheless, Iran will never support actions that would violate the sovereignty of a country to fight terrorist groups.”
