Music and poetry night “Mugam evening” was held in Erdebil, South Azerbaijan on March 11th. It took place in Sheikh Safiyyeddin Erdebils Province Art Garden in the middle of Hetai paintings on the initiative of the Amir Rajabi, the president of the state art basin who spoke on the evening of Mugam music. He talked about the influence of Mugham on the human spirit: “Mugams originates from the subtle feelings of the Azerbaijani people, its purity, immortal art and the high literature and culture. Therefore, I believe that mums are considered to be one of the most valuable examples of cultural heritage of people living in this land. It can not be denied that the mute, played in a very subtle way, is indifferent to the human spirit and its influence on the soul. ” The famous mute master Vudut Muazzinzadeh spoke of the song “Sari Gelin” in Töre. Other guests attending the ceremony were Şehriyar Nimet, Kazım Theorik Beka, Mehdi Mirza Rasulzade and Asad Nikfal, they read their poems. Much of the evening the participants were met with great enthusiasm.
