The 26th Branch of the Eastern Azerbaijan Court of Appeal verified its decision on Azerbaijani national cultural activists Abraham Nuri and Ekber Jahangiri.

Earlier, the First Chamber of the Court sentenced Nuri to six months and Cahangirini to four months in prison.

Activists are accused of “propaganda against the system”.

The Supreme Court affirmed the accusation indictment in the first paragraph of Article 455 of the Criminal Code and endorsed the sentence of the court.
