Gazipur: “Allow People to Meet Their Families”
Parliament deputy Nadir Gazipur of Urmia, South Azerbaijan, recently demanded the release of many national-cultural activists detained at the Babek Kalesi rally.
He shared information on their Instagram on Saturday.
Gazipur; “As emphasized by the President of the Islamic Republic, I appeal to the head of the Justice Ministry of East Azerbaijan for his decision to detain activist in Babek to protect the national unity.Let people meet thdir families.”
In addition to Gazipur, no Azerbaijani MP has commented on this issue.
Urmiye’s deputy was subjected to insults by Persian racists after this statement. Many Turkish enemies attacked the the social networks of MPs and insulted him with street insults for supporting the Babek Fortress rally.
Managers claiming to be nationalist separatists and working for foreign powers have accused Azerbaijani national-cultural activists of being Aliyev’s salary agent and have called them non-Iranians.
The Babek Castle march was held on 5 and 6 July and approximately 80 people were detained in southern Azerbaijan. Most of the non-arrested activists were beaten and injured at various ranks by security forces.
