Siamak Mirzaee South Azerbaijan National Activist has Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison andTwo Years of Exile
Araz News: South Azerbaijan National activist Siamak Mirzaee has sentenced to 10 years in prison and two years of exile.
According to Araz news agency, he sentenced to 10 years in prison and two years of exile by judge Hasani at Golestan’s Revolutionary Court on Jan 21, 2017.
Mr. Mirzaee was acquitted of “links with foreigners” and currently he is charged with “forming and managing a group to disrupt the country’s security.”
Session of interrogation and investigation of Siamak Mirzaee on charges of “relations with foreigners” was held and lasted more than five hours on October 26,2016.
According to Mirzaee’s father who has been closely watching the trial, his son denied all charges and announced that his arrest had been done by the intelligence ministry.
On the day of the trial, judge Rajabi also announced to Mirzaee’s father the prevention of security experts of Evin prison as the reason of not accepting the bail.
Siamak Mirzaee had been arrested by the security forces at his workplace and was transferred to ward 209 of Evin prison on July 14.
Siamak Mirzaee the South Azerbaijan National activist has been arrested by the security forces and threatened many times . He still has imprisoned in Evin Prison in Tehran.
