Araz News: On 27 Feb 2017, after more than 50 days of detention of Azerbaijan national movement activist Hojjat al-Islam Azimi Ghadimi, information regarding his whereabouts remains unknown.

Hojjat al-Islam Azimi Ghadimi and his friend Ali Bagheri were arrested by the Iran regime security forces known as ‘Ettelaat’ in Tehran city on the 7th of Jan 2017 and there is no information about their whereabouts up to now.

Hojjat al-Islam Azimi Ghadimi had been arrested several times due to the social activities by the Iranian security forces. On 6  April 2016, Azimi Ghadim along with his child was arrested in the Sahand Stadium in Tabriz due to the chanting, he was released later that day.

He is a well-known clergyman who defends South Azerbaijan rights.

It should be noted that Hojjat al-Islam Azimi Ghadimi is managing director of Telegram Channel with the name of “Rationality, analysis and action” which contain Intellectual and theoretical discussions on issues of Azerbaijan.

However, Iranian security forces have taken control and manage of the channel and they have share inappropriate post into this channel.
