The Names of Those Arrested in The Protests Against Persian Racism “TARH NO”
Araz News: On 28th of July 2016, South Azerbaijan people in many different parts of Iran gathered and hold peaceful protests against racism, especially Insulting the “TARH NO” newspaper (New Deal). As a result of this peaceful protest, Iran security forces were used of violence against South Azerbaijani people and dozens were arrested.
According to Araz News agency, the names of citizens who were arrested during the protests by the regime’s security forces is as follows:
Khoy City:
Hossein Boustanchi, Hossein Kazemi Loui, Salman Aragi, Saeed Varmazyar, Vahid Safari, Hadi abbaszadeh and a South Azerbaijani with name of Hossein and Two other citizens with unknown identity.
Maragheh City:
Morteza Karimi (Savalan).
Zanjan City:
Abolfazl Imani with his sons.
Urmia City:
Mehdi Hajizadeh.
Ardabil City:
Mohammad Julani, Ahmad Mohammad Zadeh, Vahid Sadeghi Fard and Hussein Balakhani.
Tehran City:
Ali Ebrahimi.
Tabriz city:
Roozbeh Piri, Ali Jabbari, Ali Hedayeti, Ali Dabbagh and two sisters with name of Nir and Maryam Fahali.
It should be noted that, Mr. Salman Aragi and Hossein Boustanchi have severely beaten during the arrest and have been Severe bleeding in the head and face. Also during the protests in Khoy city, the mobile phone of the Mr. Javad Karger has seized by intelligence agents and he has been summoned for interrogation by the intelligence agents.
