Araz News:Mr. Mevlut Cavusoglu  (The Turkish Foreign Ministry) denied on Saturday a news report that Ankara is preparing to introduce  visas for citizens of 89 countries which currently enjoy visa-free travel to Turkey.

He stated that the Reports in the media that our country will start implementing visa requirements for 89 countries as of June 1 do not reflect the truth.

The report which published many news service on Friday 8^th of Jan, said Turkey would abolish the current visa with 89 countries and Including Iran and Russia among the countries as of June 1 to harmonize its visa policies with those of the EU as part of a deal between Ankara and the European Union to curb illegal immigration through Turkey to Europe, however , its denied by The Turkish Foreign Ministry.

Turkey has also lifted visa requirements for citizens of a number of countries to promote business ties and tourism.
