Storms hit Tehran, Alborz provinces
Araz News: On 1 September 2015, Powerful storms battered the western parts of Tehran province, including Shahriyar and Malard,Trend reported.
The strong winds at a speed of 80 kilometers broke the trees and shattered windows of the houses as well as cut the electricity lines in Shahriyar and Malard.
Storm also hit Alborz province near Tehran and it was combined with lightening.
Storm also caused heavy traffic in the roads of Alborz province due to imposing sight restrictions.
Meantime, manager of Tehran Emergency Service’s public relations announced that Tehran storm did not leave anyone injured.
Also, the strong winds caused two flights from Ahwaz city in Southern Iran to return to Ahwaz Airport due to the inclement weather conditions of Tehrn.
The flights of Taban and Oil airlines had to return to Ahwaz International Airport.
