Turkey-Russia-Iran signed a Joint Statement on Syrian Crisis

It was also reiterated that in the discussion of the three leaders, Syria was strongly attached to the sovereignty of Syria, its independence, its unity, territorial integrity and its structure not based on a certain fraction. In the joint statement, the following statements were made: “(Leaders) Regardless of who performed, no steps should be taken to undermine principles, which are ratified by relevant UN resolutions and the will of all the representatives of Syrian society. Under the fight against terrorism, the scene rejected any initiative to create new realities and expressed their determination to stand against separatist agendas aimed at weakening the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria and the national security of neighboring countries. They also welcomed the UN Security Council Resolution No. 2401, which was taken as a response to the grave humanitarian situation in Syria, including East Guta, Yermuk, Fua and Kefraya, the province of Idlib, north of Hama, Rukban and Rakka.
