72nd anniversary of South Azerbaijan National Government commemorated widely by Azerbaijani communities around the world. Several ceremonies have been held in cities of Tabriz the historical capital of South Azerbaijan; Karaj, in Tehran province; Ankara, İstanbul, Berlin and Stockholm.

A ceremony was held in Tabriz by South Azerbaijani activists in which some right activists made speeches and Azerbaijani traditional music was performed.  Reportedly another one was held in Karaj, in Tehran province.

As Araz News reported earlier; a commemorative conference was held in Ankara by Ankara based Hazar Civilization, Culture and Social Enlightenment Association on 09.12.2017.

Also on 15 and 16 December two ceremonies was held in İstanbul first by GAMOH by the help of headquarters of Turkish Idealist Hearths (Ülkü Ocakları) of Istanbul. The second one was held by United Azerbaijan Hearths (BAO) in Point Hotel.

The ceremony in Berlin was organized by Işıq Yol (Bright Way) Azerbaijani Culture and Literature Club and the ceremony in Stockholm was held by Azerbaijani Federation of Sweden (AFI).
