The commemorative conference of South Azerbaijan’s National Government held by the of Hazar Civilizations, Culture and Social Enlightenment Association

According to ArazNews, the commiserative conference of South Azerbaijan’s National Government was held by Hazar Civilization, Culture and Social Enlightenment Association in Ankara, on Saturday December 9, 2017.

The conference began with a moment of silence for the respect for all people who lost their lives for freedom of Azerbaijan. The conference continued by the national anthems of Turkey and Azerbaijan and a short part of a speech of Sayid Cafer Pishaveri, the founder of the South Azerbaijan National Government.

Macit Araz, chairman of the Hazar Association and one of the speakers, spoke about the history of the South Azerbaijan National Liberation Movement, which began from the Constitutional Revolution (1905) and pointed that south Azerbaijan is fighting to determine its fate and self-determination during the past 110 years.

The other speaker, veteran political activist and head of the South Azerbaijan Democratic Turkish Union, Ajdar Tagizade, pointed to the importance of the national government in the history of south Azerbaijan and the unity soul between the Azerbaijan’s south and north (Republic of Azerbaijan).

Other guest spikers were Azerbaijan Cultural Association’s President Cemil Unal and United Azerbaijan Hearths president Zahir Alisoy.

The conference ended with question-answer part and closing speech, which the martyrs and political prisoners of South Azerbaijan were mentioned in that.
