Economic Crysis Causes Mass Protests in Iran

A group of tradesmen gathered in Tehran to protest the economic problems in Iran and the rise in the exchange rate. The shutters were closed and the images showing that the shopkeepers walking the police intervention in front of the parliament were shared with the slogan “We do not want spend 10 thousand Tumens on dollars.” The Vice-President of the Assembly made an OHAL call.

The trader of “Çahar Su Pasajı” in Tehran yesterday acted to protest the loss of value of the Iranian division against foreign exchange. The tradesmen often made slogans like “Leave Syria, look at our situation” and “Strike, strike”.

In Iran, the dollar quickly rose from 4,000 to 7,500 divisions in the short term, and the government of President Hasan Ruhani decided 4,200 dollar fixation of the dollar in April and forbade the buying and selling of the free market. The protesters who linked the economic crisis with the jihadists and the struggle against Israel, shouted ‘Leave Syr’Leaveia, look at us first, think of us’.
