The film “Home” made in South Azerbaijan was given a special award at the Australian Iranian Film Festival.

The 7th Australian Film Festival of Iran Films took place in 6 Australian cities from October 26th to November 19th, 2017.

According to the report, a ceremony was held at the Australian Embassy in Tehran for the winners of the festival.

In the ceremony attended by many cinematographers and art directors, the special award of the festival was given to Azerbaijani movie “Home”.

The Australian Iranian Film Festival acts as an independent body. In 2010, Armin Miladi and An Demi-Grou were established in Australia.

The film “Home”, directed by Asgar Yusufinjad’s, is the first known film of the South Azerbaijani cinema. All the scenes were drawn in Tabriz and East Azerbaijan
