Azerbaijani activist transferred to prison in Erdebil
The Azerbaijani activist Musa Cavadi, who was detained for more than a month in Iran, moved to the center of Erdebil. According to Iranian human rights advocates, Musa Cavadi, a 50-year-old civil servant, was arrested by Revolutionary Guards 33 days before his work in the Virtual Reality. He was held in the detention center of the local Revolutionary Guards for 18 days and subjected to severe pressures and threats, and then moved to Erdebil’s central prison. It is reported that the arrest of an al-Qaeda activist accused of defending the country’s national security was linked to mass protest and social networking activities against the mullah regime in 101 cities two months and one and a half years ago. Meanwhile, it is stated that the Azerbaijani activist family has resorted to all state institutions to investigate the situation, but that the security authorities did not give any information to the family members about the recent situation in Musa Cavadis case. This, in turn, causes his family to be seriously distressed and worried. Musa Cavadi, who suffers from lung disease, is being held in police custody at the 7th Corps in Erdebil’s central prison and can not be contacted by telephone.
