On February 10th, Mehran basketball team of Tehran hosted Tebriz’s Şehdari team in Azadi Stadium. During the match Azerbaijani fans played a special role.

The last match of the Super League competitions ended with a score of 86:95. Since Mehram won 2 games before the match, if it won this title it would win the title of Super League Champion. However, since the Şehdari team is the winner of the game, the champion will be determined in the next match, wich will be held on 13 February in Tabriz.

According to information in Azerbaijan supporters of Shahrari played a special role during the match. During the match slogans “I will come to you if you call me – Long Live Azerbaijan” were thrown.

In the meantime, many national slogans were performed in sports competitions organized among village teams in Üskü city of South Azerbaijan.
