The Turkish Army Forces continue to swiftly operate in Afrin to clear the area from PKK / YPG terrorist organization and rescue civilians from terrorist invasion.

On the 17th day of operation, nearly 1000 terrorists were neutralized. Iran stated a new issue about the Olive Branch operation.

Iran participated to the European countries convoys against operations in Afrin, and made the call on Turkey to stop operations for the regions, saying that it violates the sovereignty of Syria and would increase the tension in the country and may cause the civil war.

According to the official IRNA news agency, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Kasemi stated: “Turkey must stop the operation and should respect Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
