Araz news: On 17 Feb, Jamal Abu-Hassan a Bahraini MP has written a statement to the United Nations  and has declared that the United Nations should support and help South Azerbaijani independence movement for freedom from occupation of Iran regime.

Jamal Abu-Hassan is also a member of the commission for defense and foreign policy of Bahrain. He stated that the United Nations should confirm South Azerbaijan as an independent state.

He also commended the  struggles of South Azerbaijani people and the United Nations should be with the South Azerbaijani people and advocate the restoration of their legitimate rights to their land taking by the Iranian occupiers.
