Araz News: A peaceful demonstration was held by many human right activists in support of South Azerbaijan political prisoner in front of UN House-Ankara on 20 Dec 2016.

Participants in the rally started a silent demonstration to support of South Azerbaijan political prisoners specially Morteza Moradpour and Habib Sassanian. Demonstrators carry the Placards and the photos of the prisoners and demanding more attention to the South Azerbaijan political prisoner by UN and other international human rights institutions.

It should be noted that Iran Regime rejected Mortaza Moradpour demand for applying section 134 of the law to let him released after 2 years in prison. Mortaza Moradpour started a hunger strike on 25 October 2016.

Mortaza Moradpour has 60 Days of his Hunger strike and critical health condition reported.

At the end of the peaceful demonstration, the final statement was read by  Dr. Karim Asghari.
