Due to Air Pollution, 412 People Died in Tehran in Less Than a Month

Araz News: One of the members of Tehran City Council acknowledged stated that due to air pollution, 412 people have lost their lives in Tehran last  month.

According to IRNA state run news agency, Habib Kashani also acknowledged that “during the same period, many children have been afflicted with Autism, inflicting even more suffering on the families.”

The member of Tehran City Council added: “Unfortunately, air pollution is not just limited to Tehran and now people in western and southern Iran have also been hurt due to dust and air pollution while no official is willing to accept the responsibility.”

The regime official described Tehran’s air quality during the past few days as “Chemical Air”.

Tehran’s air quality index on Tuesday November 15 was categorized as ‘unhealthy for sensitive groups’, because of which the schools were closed on the day.

Last winter, the air pollution in Tehran and some other big cities had increased to the Red Level in a number of days, so that the kindergartens, pre-primary and primary schools in the cities of Tehran, Isfahan, Tabriz, Arak and Karaj were repeatedly forced to close.

The regime media announced that Sunday November 13 has been Tehran’s most polluted day since the beginning of the year.

It’s now years that Tehran is among the world’s most polluted cities. The Deputy to the regime’s Department of Environment in Tehran said that with an air quality index of 154, Tehran is in an unhealthy state (Red State) for everyone.

The Revolutionary Guard’s Fars news agency acknowledged in a report on Sunday 13 November that air pollution is directly associated with an increase in the number of deaths, due to which an extra work shift has been added to Tehran’s biggest cemetery Behesht-e Zahra during the capital’s polluted days.
