Araz News: Mohsen Jalalpur, head of Iran’s Chamber of Commerce, said that using the water of Urmia lake is about two billion dollars worth of goods produced. He said the water was pouring into the lake has been prevented and the result was $ 200 billion in damage.

Many local authorities also criticize the President for the restoration of Urmia lake. According to statistics by the Iranian authorities have announced a total of 780 thousand, 300 thousand of wells are drilled illegally leading to draining of the lake.

Mohammad Hossein Karimipoor, senior advisor to the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, said: “The government when it began to promise its work to address priority on the issue of  Urmia Lake. Unfortunately, the unauthorized wells in this area are not closed. ”

Experts for Urmia Lake declare, although some ways  for saving of the lake from draining are admirable, but the solutions are executing very slowly leading to drying of Lake finally.
