Araz News: Azerbaijan National Resistance Organization (ANRO) have wrote an official letter to Israeli government in Objection against the words of the Minister of Justice of the Israeli government On Feb 1, 2016.

The spokesperson of ANRO (Azerbaijan National Resistance Organization) Mr. Babek Chalabiyanli expressed displeasure of the South Azerbaijani people about the formation of Kurdish government in South Azerbaijan region.

Dear; Avigdor Lieberman

 

The recent statement by the Israeli Justice Minister Mrs. Shaked about formation of an independent Kurdish state in the land of South Azerbaijan (border lands between Iran and Turkey) is wholly inappropriate and extremely dangerous. South Azerbaijan will not be exploited by foreign powers for political goals. The South Azerbaijani Turks are a nation struggling for self-determination and self-administration in their own homeland.

While the Azerbaijan National Resistance Organization (ANRO) respects all peoples’ rights for freedom and dignity, we would like to express that the South Azerbaijani Turks will not tolerate any politically motivated aims on our historical homeland. We strongly stand against the aims of some Kurdish parties and organizations in annexing our homeland.

We recommend that actors refrain from misinterpreting our nation’s hospitality and philanthropy for weakness or complacency. We expect Israeli officials to respect the realities of the region and hope that said officials will be more attentive to the region’s demographics so that such mistakes are avoided in the future.
