Araz News:  Alireza Farshi the National Movement activist of South Azerbaijan   was registered for Iranian parliament  in Electoral district of Marand City.

Alireza Farshi national activist of South Azerbaijan who was arrested several times and detained by the security organs and the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran was candidate for  tenth parliamentary elections.

The candidate of the Islamic Republic is as follows, First, those who intend to participate in elections as candidates are registered and waiting for the result of their qualification from  the Guardian Council of Islamic Republic of Iran. If the Guardian Council accepted the qualification of the candidate, then the candidate Can participate in elections.

Alireza Farshi’s slogan for the election is  ‘’O YOL BIZIM YOL’’ means the way is our way. He will demand civil rights for people of South Azerbaijan in the parliament. Many of the activists of the National Movement wrote congratulations and support message on his Facebook page. Some also believe that Guardian Council does not allow ALireza Farshi to get qualification of the candidate for the election.

South Azerbaijan National movement activists Mr. Alireza Farshi  is a university professor in computer engineering field . It is important to say that Alireza Farshi  a dismissed university lecturer of the Azad International University of Jolfa   had been arrested on 21^stFebruary 2015 , during the activities in celebration of International Mother Language Day.  He was released from Evin prison on the bail On 19^th  of April 2015.
