Closing Tabriz Bazaar and preventing protest of students by university authorities
Araz News: On November 9, 2015,Bazaar merchants of Tabriz to protest the racial insults of “FITILE” program (The children’s program which broadcasted on Iranian state television) closed their stores and markets. They demanded immediate cessation of Persian racism, an apology from the head of the National Broadcasting Council and minister of culture.
On the other hand, Tabriz Azad University authorities prevented from demonstration protest of Students.
Tabriz University students who wanted to protest against racial insults of the Fitile program were stopped by University security officials.
During this event many of university students were taken to the University security office for interrogations also, Student card of some of the students were confiscated.
