Araz News: Since the beginning of Ramadan, The Ardabil region TV which is  called “Sabalan”  has Stoped  broadcasting news  17:00, the only  news in Azerbaijani Turkish language on the  TV of Ardabil province.

A group of residents and citizens of Ardabil City urges the authorities and Ardabil officials Broadcasting to respond  the reason of removal broadcasting news  17:00 the only  news in Azerbaijani Turkish language quickly and clearly.

For more than 35 million Turk people who live in Iran there is only four local tv in West Azerbaijan, East Azerbaijan, Ardebil and Zanjan province which broadcast Some of their programs in in Azerbaijani Turkish. Of course, Type of the use of the word in Azerbaijani Turkish   by these local tvs  has been criticized by the public and the media.

In the past, Khuda Bakhsh the  Ardabil governor criticized the poor conditions of Azerbaijani Turkish  Language in official and local television station .He expressed:” This is a big fault  that 99 percent of the words using in programs of local tv are Farsi  and just only 1 percent of words mean the verbs of sentences are  spoken in Azerbaijani Turkish”.

Already, Hojjat al-Eslam Jabari  member of the Education Faculty of Urmia University  has criticized the language used in television of West Azerbaijan. He stated that not only  the  entertainer haven’t  fluent  Azerbaijani Turkish  in our local media but also nobody speak in this form in our region.

This is not the first time , the Radio and Television Ardabil criticized by Azerbaijani people about improper use of the Azerbaijani Turkish language.
