ANRO: Dialog and Coordination Committee before Parliament in Exile for South Azerbaijan
Araz News: Azerbaijan National Resistance Organization (ANRO) has stated in a statement that idea of establishing parliament in exile for South Azerbaijan is useful and necessary and that the parliament in exile can channelize and bring to gather the separate and unorganized groups and organizations active within the South Azerbaijan National Movement.
But in the statement the ANRO stressed that before establishing a parliament in exile forming a “dialog and coordination committee” of South Azerbaijani groups and organizations is a necessity and essential requirement. The statement explains that before preparing basis and fulfilling conditions it is not possible to establish of an effective, comprehensive and consistent parliament in exile.
ANRO announces that it is ready to take part in talks for forming a dialog and coordination committee, via its abroad branch.
Note that a group of South Azerbaijani political activists has launched a campaign and are making calls for establishing a parliament in exile for South Azerbaijan. The group has formed a 9-person “initializing committee” upon a meeting they held in Copenhagen in 15th March 2014.
Recently the initializing committee made public calls for South Azerbaijani activists and active groups to join and support them. The initializing committee has informed that it is planning for a wider meeting in the coming months.
