Electricity Shutdowns in South Azerbaijan Made People Protest.

In recent days, there have been major outages in the cities of South Azerbaijan and the problem has caused our citizens to be sharply disturbed.

According to the report, after the hot weather in the region, the Iranian Ministry of Energy started to supply energy to the Azerbaijani cities with graphics and electricity was cut off in big cities like Tabriz and Urmiya.

The lack of electricity in hot weather caused our citizens to protest. The breakthrough in the supply of electricity has caused the daily life of the population to be devastated and cause great damage to them.

Social network users have criticized Iran for giving free electricity to the occupying Armenia, showing strong objections to power cuts. They said that despite the electricity shortages in the country, electricity is unacceptable for donating to an invading country.

Some of our compatriots said that the current year has been rainy and there is no reason for the electricity interruption.

Chairman of the Public Relations Department of the Tabriz Electricity Distribution Company, Yunis Merami, refused to use the electricity quota. He said electricity interruptions are about controlling consumption levels during hot summer days. In the coming days, the weather will be hot and the public is calling for electricity savings.
