Araz News: ATA Airlines begins its first flights from Tabriz to Baku On Thursday 16.06.2016.

Mohsen Pakain Iran Ambassador has stated that the Company organizes flights Baku-Tabriz and Baku-Tehran.

“Airbus 320 will fly to both cities twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays. The aircraft will depart at 12:15 from Tehran and land in Baku at 13:30. After an hour and a half break the air vehicle will fly to Tabriz with arrival at 18:00,” the ambassador said.

He added that the cost of round trip tickets will be 180 Manat.

“Earlier flights to Tabriz were organized by AZAL, but they were suspended, most likely due to the low demand. Iranians love to travel, and everyone coming tourist provides 9 jobs, so I think that the opening of the flights will contribute to the economic and trade cooperation and, in particular, to the development of tourist relations,” the ambassador said.
