Araz News:  The official website of Central Intelligence Agency had published the population of South Azerbaijan 16%. Following the protest of some South Azerbaijan National Activist to wrong Statistics of CIA.

Finally, after a long time, CIA has removed the percentage of minorities people in Iran and just to mention ethnic names in its Fact book website.

The spokesperson of ANRO (Azerbaijan National Resistance Organization) Mr. Babek Chalabiyanli in this regard   said to Oyrenci Sesi: ” I hope everyone has seen the population of South Azerbaijan and consider the reality  of Turkic  population (30% -40%)  and their role in Iran’s geography”.

He continued by saying that in a letter, we wrote to US Senator Tim Kaine that they raised Turkic population.
