Araz News:  NATO does not recognize ‘elections’ in Karabakh.

We do not recognize the results of the “parliamentary elections” in Nagorno-Karabakh as influencing the legal status of Nagorno-Karabakh, and they do not have any effect on the outcome of the ongoing negotiations on the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

According to Oxu.Az,  NATO Special Representative for the South Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai made a statement yesterday about the “parliamentary elections” that took place in Nagorno-Karabakh.

It is noted that NATO supports the OSCE Minsk Group, including the recent statement by the co-chairs on this issue (http://www.osce.org/mg/154721).

“We look forward to a speedy continuation of the dialogue between President Aliyev and President Sargsyan in the context of the Minsk process,” says the statement of the North Atlantic Alliance.
