Araz News: US Department of State Persian-language spokesman, Alan Eyre told he supports Azerbaijan’s Tractor-Sazi Football Club.

Mr. Eyre was quest of “Politic” video program of “Radio Free Europe, Radio Liberty” and answered questions of program director Kambiz Hosseini.

Replying the question: “Do you pursue Iranian football? You support Esteghlal or Perspolis?” he told loudly : “Tractor! Tractor!”

Mr. Eyre shared that part of the reportage separately from his facebook account.

South Azerbaijani social media users widely welcomed and appreciated Mr. Eyre’s support of their beloved club.

However some Persian nationalists reacted severely blaming Mr. Eyre of supporting separatists’ club!
