Five South Azerbaijani Activists Sentenced to Imprisonment
Araz News: Five South Azerbaijani right activists from city of Miandoab have been sentenced to imprisonment by a court in West Azerbaijan Province.
The activist Dariush Andalibian is sentenced to 9 months in prison while activists Habib Manafi Azar, Javad Soudbar, Yousef Mokhtari, Mokhtar Ebrahimi are each sentenced to 3 months in prison.
They were arrested on 12th December 2014 in a commemoration ceremony for the National Government of Azerbaijan.
National Government of Azerbaijan was established in 1945 and was destroyed one year later by Iranian army.
