Conductor of "El Bahçesi" band talks about difficulties of organising concerts in Iran.

Wave Music Group’s Great Performance in Tabriz left the Audience Amazed.

The concert was held at the Tebriz Petrochemical Amphitheater on 18th and 19th of January. Master Chingiz Mehdipurs “El Bahçesi” music group’s concert was met with great interest by the audience. They performed 15 composition in this concert.
İt was a new program with the Wave Music Group’s “El Bahçesi” after a long period gap.
Last week, in an interview with ISNA news agency Master Chingiz Mehdipur said:
“It is more difficult for our group to get permission for the concert than for the other groups, in terms of procedure and timing. After 30 years of experience we know what to do for the well-orgonized concert. However, when it comes to our group, it is a way more difficult procedure. ”
Master Mehdipur criticized the discrimination of the band, he directed, “If we were allowed, we would give concerts in all the cities of East Azerbaijan, we have all means needed for this to happen.”
The Dalga Music Group is one of the best well-known bands of South Azerbaijan. It was formed by Mehdipur in 1990, and was repeatedly participating in national festivals and achieved great success as a music band. “Wave” group performed in more than 30 countries (Canada, Turkey, France, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, Japan, China. Colombia, Azerbaijan, Spain, etc.) In their homeland they took stages in Isfahan, Hamedan, Kerman, Kysh, Tehran, Tabriz, Urmia , Zanjan and other cities. It is important to note that the Persian bands that are interested in giving concerts in the southern Azerbaijani cities are granted permission very easily, but the local bands are deprived for some reason. Unfortunately the Azerbaijani music bands, which have won the favor of the folks and successfully performed at the festivals, are exposed to the double standard.
