Araz News: Insolence of any race, especially that of brave and respectable Azerbaijan is not acceptable at all, said  Mr. Nader Gazipour  on 4th of August 2017.

The Tehran gladiator’s newspaper called the people of Azerbaijan “WILD TURK” after finishing the soccer game between TRACTOR-SAZI AZERBAIJAN & PERSPOLIS   Tehran yesterday, 3th of August.

Representative of Urmia ‘s people Mr. Nader Gazipour strongly stated that how could  some  news agencies and magazines have permitted  themselves to insult TRACTOR-SAZI football team and Azerbaijani nation from their own platform.

As a servant to the people, i would  pursue this action till imposing punishment to those contumelious, insolent and disrespectful  news agencies.

Social media governance audit should pursue this issue as quick as possible and punish those who provoke such issues, and definitely it would be a lesson to those who dare to disgrace Azerbaijani people.

It should be noted that Tractor-Sazi Azerbaijan, or Trakhtur as it is known the local Turkish dialect, has become the unofficial team of South Azerbaijan and serves as a point of pride for Azerbaijani national identity in Iran. Azerbaijani-Turks gather in the tens of thousands for each game to not only support their team, but also to chant national slogans calling for self-determination as well as greater linguistic and cultural rights. It is quite common for Azerbaijani activists to be arrested during Tractor-Sazi matches.
