South Azerbaijan Civil Right Activist Ms. Soheila Kargar was sentenced to five years in prison
Araz News:The Revolutionary Court of Qazvin sentenced Soheila Kargar, a civil rights activist, on charges of “membership in the group to disrupt public security “was sentenced to five years imprisonment, according to Article 499 the Islamic Penal Code on the 1st of April 2017.
The edict maintains membership in telegram (a social network popular in Iran) groups among her charges.
Ms. Soheila Kargar is from the town of Khoy and she is a graduate of the master degree in software engineering. She was receiving authority from the executive board of Qazvin in the tenth parliamentary representation, however, she was disqualified by Supervising approval of parliament.
