Araz News: While Tehran’s Plasco collapse is still at the forefront of Iran’s media coverage, several parts of Sistan-Baluchistan province faced with heavy flood disaster during these days. Unfortunately, negligible media coverage of this incident and Inadequate first aid shown discrimination of Iran’s regime against non-Persian area clearly.

According to the last report, 149 urban and rural areas of six provinces of Sistan and Baluchestan, Hormozgan Province, Fars, Kerman, South Khorasan and Khorasan Razavi have been affected by floods. Many residents have been forced to leave their home. Roads are blocked as a result of the disaster.

On 27 Jan, Hossein Ali Shahriari, who is represents of  Zahedan in the Islamic consultative assembly said: “relief work and service to the people of Sistan and Baluchestan is not sufficient and hundreds homes collapsed in this area.”

Iran’s media and provincial governments say that flood disaster did not cause any damage to people of the province.

He added: “when the government says the country’s poorest people located  in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, according to last statistics, how it is possible to say that flood disaster did not cause any damage to people who are the country’s poorest people.”

Morteza Salimi, head of the Iranian crisis management reported that more than 4900 people have emergency accommodation, closures of 800 schools and 15 villages main roads are blocked in the incident.

It’s not the first time that Iran regime medias have silenced against the incidents and events which happened at non Persian areas.
